Page 158 Books hosts the second installment of our new Author Roundtable series. This month we are joined by Barbara Claypole White, Camille Di Maio, and Rochelle Weinstein. Join us for an informal conversation about writing, reading, and all things books over on our Crowdcast channel. Barbara Claypole White, a Brit living in North Carolina, is a bestselling author, an OCD advocate, and a woodland gardener at war with the local squirrel population. (She's not too keen on voles, either.) The Unfinished Garden won the 2013 Golden Quill for Best First Book; The In-Between Hour was chosen by the Southern Independent Booksellers as a Winter 2014 Okra Pick; The Perfect Son was a Goodreads Choice Awards Nominee for Best Fiction 2015; Echoes of Family was a finalist for the WFWA 2017 Star Award; and The Promise Between Us, which shines a light on postpartum OCD, has publication date of January 16th, 2018. At the age of 12, Camille Di Maio decided that it was her life’s goal to write a novel, so she wrote a letter to her future self to make sure she’d gotten it done. Nearly three decades later, the dream came true. When she’s not ignoring her responsibilities in favor of reading a page-turner, she wears many other hats. Together with her uber-supportive husband, she homeschools their four children, and runs one of the most successful real estate teams in San Antonio. Rochelle B. Weinstein is the USA Today bestselling author of emotionally driven women's fiction, including This Is Not How It Ends, Somebody's Daughter, Where We Fall, The Mourning After, and What We Leave Behind. Rochelle spent her early years in sunny South Florida, always with a book in hand, raised by the likes of Sidney Sheldon and Judy Blume. Now a full-time writer, Rochelle enjoys giving back and contributing to her community. She is currently a mentor at Women of Tomorrow, an organization in Miami-Dade, Florida designed to guide, motivate, and inspire at-risk young women achieve their full potential. There Rochelle meets monthly with her students at Alonzo Mourning High School where she says the girls give her more than she can ever give them. Rochelle also teaches workshops at Nova Southeastern University's Alvin Sherman Library on writing and publishing. In her spare time, Rochelle loves to hike, read, and find the world’s best nachos. She is currently working on both her sixth and seventh novels. Her motto is NEVER GIVE UP, and you can connect with her on social media or visit her website at www.rochelleweinstein.com. Please note that this is a digital author event hosted on our Crowdcast channel.
