WOMEN'S SUSPENSE - Jean's husband is murdered and she starts receiving threatening phone calls. She becomes frantic and sells her home in Wasington, DC and moves to Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. A man she knew in college comes to town claiming she belongs to him and he will have her, regardless. He knows that she is already married. She owns a house and lighthouse on the beach where she finds a few myterious things that have happened in the past. She finds a room in the lighthouse where there are three trunks waiting to be invaded. In one of the trunks she finds an intriguing mystery as to why she might be threatened. Is the caller and the man from college connected? She is kidnapped by a man walking the beach where she is blindfolded and taken to a house on the river. She is assaulted repeatedly by the several men living in the house. One of the men seems to be slightly retarded and he is called Danny Boy. Will she ever see her children and husband again? Will they let her go after they receive the ransome they are asking? Will Jean find a way to escape? Will she live to be reunited with her family? A story of stalking and harassing phone calls is ready for you to pick up and read. The two girls on the cover are my grandchildren and the picture was taken at Thanksgiving in 2006. They live in Southport and I pick the yougest girl up from school each day while her mother is teaching math at South Brunswick High School and their dad is working as a techincal engineer.
