David Anderson

Born on June 9, 1967, Dave Anderson grew up in central North Carolina excelling in academics and sports. At the age of twenty he joined the Navy and the United States Naval Nuclear Power Program and became an electrician's mate in the submarine force. He earned his enlisted dolphins on September 4, 1990, on board the USS Parche (SSN-683), America's most decorated warship and one of the least known. After ten years enlisted, Dave was commissioned as an officer and once again traveled the halls of the Nuclear Power School to once again return to the submarine force. On December 7, 2000, David earned his gold dolphins as a junior officer on board the USS Wyoming (SSBN-742)--one of the first four submarines to later allow female officers, in 2011. After completing twenty-three years of Naval service, Dave retired as a Lieutenant Commander. His career imprinted the knowledge and experience needed to portray an accurate representation of life aboard submarines as a backdrop for this riveting series of fictional tales. Married to Tracey Anderson and living back home in North Carolina, David and his wife enjoy their free time riding motorcycles with a great group of friends. Dave has three children: Olivia, 26, lives in Hawaii while Oliver, 16, and Annalise, 14, are at home with their mother in Clarksville, Tennessee, enjoying summers and holidays with the Anderson family. Tracey's daughter Rylie, 14, also lives in North Carolina. The couple work tirelessly promoting their non-profit cause, The Colby Haithcock Memorial Scholarship Fund, created in memory of Tracey's son following his tragic death. Proceeds from Dave's books are a gift to his wife, as a loving gesture to turn a mother's grief into something good by way of helping others. The scholarship funds help young men or women achieve Colby's dream to follow in his father's footsteps. Amazon reviews rate Dave's books as being on par with Larry Bond's thrillers, gripping reads you can't be put down. Whether you're in it for the cause or the ride, tapping into a compelling source of new page-turners is one more reason to buy Dave's books now.
