DaMaris Hill 

Dr. DaMaris B. Hill is a writer. Her books include The Fluid Boundaries of Suffrage and Jim Crow: Staking Claims in the Heartland and \ Vi-zə-bəl \ \ Teks-chərs \ (Visible Textures), a short collection of poems. Her narrative-in-verse, A Bound Woman Is a Dangerous Thing, is forthcoming with Bloomsbury Publishing. Hill is also writing a novel about girls that are incarcerated during the 1930’s. She is represented by Charlotte Sheedy Literary Agency.
