Because we are REALLY REALLY excited to have these incredible writers visit us at Star Line Books for a reading and book signing. Jeff Zentner ( The Serpent King and The Goodbye Days), Brittany Cavallaro (A Study in Charlotte and The Last of August) and Emily Henry (A Million Junes) represent some of the really incredible young adult fiction out there. So whether you are a young person yourself or just a big fan of YA make sure you swing by the shop to spend time with these fantastc writers. About the authors: Jeff Zentner is the acclaimed author of The Serpent King. In addition to writing, he is a singer-songwriter and guitarist who has recorded with Iggy Pop, Nick Cave, and Debbie Harry. GOODBYE DAYS is his love letter to the city of Nashville and the talented people who populate it. He lives in Nashville with his wife and son. Brittany Cavallaro is a poet, fiction writer, and old school Sherlockian. She is the author of the Charlotte Holmes novels from HarperCollins/Katherine Tegen Books, including A STUDY IN CHARLOTTE and THE LAST OF AUGUST (forthcoming in February 2017). She’s also the author of the poetry collection GIRL-KING (University of Akron) and is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship. She earned her BA in literature from Middlebury College and her MFA in poetry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Currently, she’s a PhD candidate in English literature at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She lives in Wisconsin with her husband, cat, and collection of deerstalker caps. Emily Henry studied creative writing at Hope College and the New York Center for Art and Media Studies. She is a full-time writer and proofreader. Her first book, The Love That Split the World, was published in 2016. Her upcoming novel, A Million Junes will be released in May of 2017.
