Peggy Gaines - 3/4 Full: Blessings from a New Perspective - Gables Mindset is one of the most important things when dealing with a loss of any kind the loss of a relationship, a job, your health or the loss of a loved one. Everyone has some type of stress to deal with in life and everyone can benefit from knowing skills and techniques that can e used when life gets tough. Meditation steadied the author's emotions and illuminated her mindset as she helped her son through surgery, chemotherapy and eventually to help him cross over in peace. The author shares the lessons learned and the meditation techniques used during this time. The experience demonstrates that mindset was key to a positive outlook. About the Author: Peggy Gaines, RN is a nurse educator and is nationally board certified as a Meditation Specialist. She has been meditating more than 18 years and has been teaching meditation over 6 years. She is married and the mother of two children, Nathan and Heather. When their son Nathan was 17 years old, he developed a malignant brain tumor. Peggy relied on meditation to help her stay calm and focused as she and her husband navigated the care for their son. Peggy teaches meditation classes for individuals and businesses to cope with the demands and pressures of life. She lives in Coconut Grove, Florida with Michael, her husband of 32 years.
