Marcus Zusak Author Event!
Thursday, March 17th | 7 p.m.
at the William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum. Doors open at 6 p.m.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of one of our favorite books of all time, The Book Thief, and we are thrilled to be partnering with the William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum to host a special Book Talk with author Markus Zusak himself. The Book Thief is the story of a young girl in Nazi Germany, told from the perspective of Death. It has been on the New York Times bestseller list for the past 10 years and has been translated into over 40 different languages. The novel received numerous awards, including a Michael L. Printz Honor from the American Library Association and was also recently made into a major motion picture. The event will include a book talk, Q&A, and a book signing. Please note that this event is free and open to the public, but it is first come, first seated, and a purchase is required to get in the signing line.
