Malcolm White 

White has long been a promoter of music and events, founding both the Mal’s St. Paddy’s Parade, which benefits Batson’s Hospital for Children and attracts more than 75,000 visitors a year, and WellsFest, a family festival held in Jackson. He and his brother, Hal, opened the iconic Jackson restaurant Hal & Mal’s, a popular haven where author John Grisham held his first book signing in Jackson. A native of Stone County, White is the author of "Little Stories," a collection of Mississippi photos and experiences from his personal perspective on his home state
