Sandra Gail Lambert's novel, The River's Memory, combines her believe in the extraordinary effect of ordinary women with a passion for the natural world of Florida. These days she lives with her partner in Gainesville, Florida but grew up as a military brat and then spent most of a decade owning a southern independent feminist bookstore. Sandra writes fiction and memoir which have been published in a variety of journals and anthologies including New Letters, the North American Review, The Weekly Rumpus, the Alaska Quarterly Review, Brevity, and Arts & Letters. She's won prizes from Big Fiction Magazine and the Saints and Sinners Short Story Contest and is a Yaddo fellow.
