Bill Griffin

Bill and wife Linda French Griffin have their first creative collaboration appearing in 2008 from March Street Press. SNAKE DEN RIDGE, A BESTIARY is a collection of poems set in a remote section of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. In each poem, native creatures speak to the reader, each in its distinctive voice. Each poem is illustrated with a pen and ink drawing by Linda. Bill has two other poetry chapbooks in print, BARB QUILL DOWN (Pudding House 2004) and CHANGING WOMAN (Main Street Rag 2006). Linda is a professional illustrator and also a historian. SNAKE DEN RIDGE includes her essay describing the evolution of the bestiary as a literary form and vehicle for exploring our relationship to our environment.
