Sandee Carlisle

sandee Carlisle lives in a small Georgia town with her present husband, Gary. She was widowed at the age of 37 and faced the daunting task of raising three children without her husband's love and support, but forever keeping him alive in the memories and hearts of their children, Betsey, Jeff, and Billy who were nin, ten, and twelve at the time. In spite of what took place on that beach in Nassau on November 13, 1980, Sandee has created a life for herself that is full of joy and laughter. Today she finds happiness in her writing and painting, but she really lights up when speaking about her grandchildren who now number ten. Death and addiction are things that are shared by other in this world, but joy and happiness had had to replace the sadness. Hers is a story of tragic loss, murder, addiction, but moreover, one of living through these things and finding great strength in the living of life. This book is a tribute to Bill, Jeff and Conner. It is the culmination of years of writing and remembering and having to deal with all of the good bad, happy and sad, that comes with life. And that life goes on. Sandee looks to the future and laughs through the tears when recounting the past.
